(3) Why do we use the colors we use?
Our plain colors (black, green, tan, navy) and camo patterns (woodland, desert) are designed to blend into a wide range of natural and man-made environments during the day or in the night. It is our adherence to functional colors and useful designs that has gained us a strong aesthetic and stylistic position above the constantly changing tides of fashion trends.

(6) What is a "Versipack"?
A "Versipack" is a pack that can be worn or carried in a variety of ways and are loaded with compartments for a plethora of carrying options. Take our Proteus Versipack, for example. It can be worn on the waist like a fanny pack, hand-carried with waist straps concealed, or attached onto our backpacks with our patent pending "snap and anchor" modular expansion system.

(7) Why use zippers with paracord pulls?
550 paracord is durable, silent, readily available, and easily field replaceable. A paracord knot grabs well even with gloved hands and are pronounced enough to find in the dark.

(8) What do you mean when you say "MAXGEAR gear has a great deal of expansion possibilities"?
MAXGEAR gear is designed to be put together and built upon with our "snap and anchor" modular expansion system for compounding carrying capacity and options. Simply put, smaller pouches, bags, and sheaths can be mated to larger pieces of gear in a modular fashion. Snaps are found on our M1, M2, M4 waistpacks and the Proteus Versipack. These snaps can be woven into the integral anchoring platforms found on our backpacks and other carry cases. Our anchors are also compatible with MAXGEAR velcro accessories like our cellphone carriers, single and double sheaths, flashlight holder, and keyper.
